The results of this year’s HRC 2014 Municipal Equality Index (MEI) have been published and, for North Texas, they show a lot of progress as well as some real challenges ahead. The MEI examines the laws, policies, and services of municipalities across the country and rates them on the basis of their inclusivity of LGBT people who live and work there.
