Join Us Poolside to Celebrate the Contributions of the Women of DFW

August 26, 2014 by Jaime Duggan & Chris Lindsey, 2014 Federal Club Co-Chairs

Beer - BBQ - Equality | Special Federal Club Women’s Event

The Women of our community have been pivotal to the growth of Federal Club locally and to the success of HRC nationally.  Last week, we talked about the 49 men who gathered back in 1987 and started DFW Federal Club. While these men may have started the Federal Club, we know that our many successes along the way has been driven in a large part by the contributions of numerous women.

To this day, women from Dallas-Fort Worth have been and remain in the highest leadership positions in HRC. Our Federal Club has been blessed by a long list of amazing female co-chairs, who have also served nationally on both HRC Boards, including as Board Co-Chairs for the HRC Foundation Board and Board of Governors. Those positions, currently being held by Cathi Scalise and Vanessa Benavides respectively.  In past 8 years, our national board representation has been predominantly women.

So join us at the home of Sue Davidson and Dee Miller to celebrate the women of DFW Federal Club.
