We are extremely excited to announce that Elizabeth Rodriguez, will be your female Federal Club Co-chair for 2015-2016. Liz also plans to continue the exciting work she's done with the women's committee to continue to support our female community. Liz will also serve on HRC's National Board of Governors beginning October 2014. We are blessed and honored to have her as a part of our leadership team!

After graduating from Lawrence D. Bell High School in Euless, Texas, Liz attended Florida State University and earned a degree in marketing. While at FSU, Liz joined the Alpha Kappa Delta Phi International Sorority, an Asian-interest sorority and became the first Hispanic member of the FSU chapter. She also served in the FSU Student Government.

Liz continues to be involved with the Seminole Club of North Texas and the Burning Spear - an honorary leadership organization at FSU. Liz also currently volunteers her time as a mentor to high school students in the HEB ISD.

Liz is an avid sports fan and never misses a chance to cheer on the Rangers, the Cowboys and, of course, the Seminoles! No doubt if there's a game on - you can find her with a group of friends supporting her teams!

We look forward to continuing to stand with Liz, side-by-side, to support the work of HRC and our fight for equality. If you haven't met her yet, please make sure to say hello at the next event and join us in welcoming her as the incoming co-chair!
